So, first off, big thumbs up to the service here. They got us a table even though they had an event going on which meant fellow taco connoisseur, Sara Seibt, and I didn't need to scope out a last minute taco location.
Now - the tacos.
These are definitely TRENDY tacos. Weird meats, plethora of ingredients. We were going to a play after we ate so we got some guacamole and margaritas along with our tacos. The guacamole was solid but they insisted on having chips made of bananas and other things that I felt was trying too hard - I just wanted me some corn chips, man.
Solid marg though.
The tacos themselves were 1 for 3 - for me. The one I liked MORE than made up for the other two which were just so-so. Very well seasoned - I wish I had ordered 3 of whatever it was (I was a lazy reviewer and have no idea what I got). If I ever go back I will be showing them the picture I took and telling them which one I want (it was the middle one!)
All in all - it's a cute place and seems typical for a West Loop location. I would go back for that single taco alone - particularly because it's close to work. But, I probably wouldn't recommend it if I get the whole city as an option for where to get tacos.
