It’s summer, so I wanted to check out another taco spot with outdoor seating, which led me to Tacos Tequilas in Logan Square. However, the chairs and tables outside were not set up so we had to eat inside - and I bet you think I'd be mad about that, but I'm not. Here's why:

My, oh my, we have not had tacos this good in SOME TIME.
The recommended tacos were the Crispy Potato Tacos (Papa Y Epazote) which were a little different in that they were rolled tacos, almost like a taquito. And man - they lived up to their hype. A vegetarians dream, I would imagine.Hell - I’m a meat eater and I would write songs about these tacos. And I don't even know WHAT the sauce was on top but yes. yes. yes.
The steak tacos (Arrachera) were divine. Everything you could want in a steak taco.
And the fish tacos were not MY favorite, but taco tour connoisseur and ride or die babe, Sara Seibt, liked them enough. I don't generally dig tilapia, though, and those were what kind of fish the fish tacos were made with. In Sara's words: the fish was cooked well, but there was much too much sauce. However, I still traded her the other half of my fish taco for the other half of her crispy potato taco and we gobbled up both.
The restaurant itself? Very cute. Small. But fun! Cool artwork and a great vibe. They had margaritas with many different flavors - I will definitely be taking my boyfriend here when we move to Wicker in September.

* 8/1/19 EDIT: I would check Groupon before you go here - I’ve gone back many times since this first review and they sometimes have specials for like 6 tacos, 2 margaritas and some guac for only $24. A steal.
