Another friend recommendation! Finally!
The inside of Broken English is quite lovely with lots of artwork, so perfect for any kind of weather. But it was a beautiful day, so we sat outside.
Service was speedy, though our waiter seemed a little overwhelmed by us when we asked for cheese and when we ordered 2 extra to-go tacos for my boyfriend (who was scoping out a place to watch Grease at Millennium Park later). By the way, this little joint was not cheap. But, it was pretty good, so only slightly bothered by the price.
We got the steak tacos and there was a very... Mongolian Beef vibe to the tacos. Chinese-Mexican fusion maybe? I don't know. But it was good, I was ultimately satisfied. And surprised too, because this place definitely aims to be cool, however they don't deviate from the standard taco formula, which I appreciate.
This is our second loop location that we have enjoyed - which is a nice change as its so close to the office so it's great for after work tacos!
