I was STARVING by the time I got to La Chilangueada with fellow taco connoisseur and ride or die babe, Sara Seibt. I was stoked for some slider tacos to make my dreams come true. La Chilangueda a small sit-down place where I got to use my very rusty and embarrassing Spanish. We were served quickly.
I got six tacos de canasta (or "basket tacos"). I got 2 papa con chorizo (potato with chorizo), 2 chicharron con chile (pork skin), & 2 of the chilango (skirt steak, bacon, hot dogs, and onions).
All were fantastic but my favorite were the chilango tacos. They were priced very well, which was nice because the tacos were small. Their smaller size is why some people call them slider tacos.
I really appreciated the little bits of bacon and hot dogs, but hey I'm not a hard girl to please.
So definitely recommend!
