Don't be fooled by the OG categorization - although the food itself is classic, the inside is as hip as they make them - colorful with interesting music choices.
While waiting for Guest Judge, Dana Michelotti ,Ph.D. in Tacology, we people watched the plethora of hipsters and scratched our head over what radio station could possibly be playing.
We ordered at the counter and it took a very long time for our tacos to get to us. So, not a great first impression.
The tacos themselves were good, if a bit average. The meat was well seasoned and had a good ratio of cilantro and onion. We asked for cheese but they forgot and we were too lazy to ask again. We DID forget to order the extra thick tortilla. We'd be willing to go back to see if we like it more with cheese and the thicker tortilla.
Fellow taco connoisseur, Sara Seibt, got the fish taco, and apparently that was a stand out. I had a bite that I enjoyed.
